The Whisky Box's inaugural feature takes you to the Isle of Arran off the west coast of Scotland. Known for its hiking trails, scenery, wildlife, and of course, whisky, the island is home to the renowned Lochranza Distillery, the home of Arran Whisky.
Arran Whisky is, as they themselves say, "the island, bottled," influenced by the unique geography, microclimate, and water that is unique to their location. Built on the northern end of the island in 1994, Lochranza Distillery first ran spirit through their system and officially opened in 1995. Since then they've had great success, enjoying moments such as a personal visit by Queen Elisabeth II, being named Scottish Distillery of the Year, winning Distillery Visitor Experience of the Year (twice), and enumerable awards for their whiskys.
We've chosen their stunning Quarter Cask Single Malt, known as 'The Bothy', as the first feature whisky and paired it with everything you need to make their own Coffee Meeting Whisky Cocktail so that you can indulge in more ways than one. Along with the delightfully tasty and crunchy BBQ corn nibbles from The Baron to complement everything else in the box in case you get snacky while having a wee dram.
