Michter's US★1 Unblended American Whiskey

Unlike Bourbon or Rye, which, by definition, must be aged in new oak barrels, Michter's US★1 Unblended American Whiskey is aged in a way that utilizes whiskey-soaked barrels to achieve a rich and unique flavor profile.

In late 2013, then Master Distiller Willie Pratt agreed to re-release Michter's US★1 Unblended American Whiskey after a nearly three-year absence from the market, deeming it “just right” and “the best it’s ever been.” Crucially, Michter's US★1 Unblended American Whiskey never contains grain neutral spirits – hence its “unblended” distinction.

Kapiti Candy Co. Chocolate Almond Butternut Crunch

Just when you thought brittle could not get any better, Kapiti Candy Co. went and added a layer of chocolate to a buttery brittle base and scattered it with chopped almonds.

The layers of sweetness and nutty caramel are a sumptuous and toothsome bite to pair with the richness of the Unblended Michter's.

Fever-Tree Dry Ginger Ale

As always, we love giving a variety of ways to experience and enjoy the diverse whiskies we feature. The Highball is an all time classic for this so we've included a bottle of Fever-Tree's Dry Ginger Ale.

A classic and refreshing combination, the sweet and spicy ginger ale is the perfect match when looking to mix a whisky, and a premium spirit deserves to be served with a premium mixer.

Cocchi Storico Vermouth Di Torino

The second extra for changing it up with enjoying the Michter's is a mini of Cocchi Vermouth di Torino. The best of America meets the best of Italy with these two to make a smashing Manhattan or Rob Roy.

Storico Vermouth di Torino is still produced according to the original recipe of Giulio Cocchi. This vermouth belongs to the category of the sweet vermouths, or Italian vermouths, sweet and amber as indicated in the manuals of the late XIX century.

We love Michter's so much that we couldn't help ourselves and had to throw in another one of their fantastic spirits, in this case the US★1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

Made from a carefully selected mash bill that features the highest quality American corn, it is then matured to the peak of perfection. Truly “small batch” each batch is done in a holding tank sized to fit a maximum of twenty full barrels, leaving no margin for “blending out” imperfection and thus necessitating excellence from every barrel. Nuanced, mellow and earthy. Michter’s US★1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is also available with personalized Fort Nelson Select labeling at Michter’s Fort Nelson Distillery.
