One of the worlds top gin distilleries, Never Never Distilling based in Adelaide wine country, has released their lastest experimental gin. Med Gin is the latest addition to the brands "Dark Series", a line of products designed to push the boundaries of flavour and experimentation.
Batch 1 of Never Never Med Gin landed in NZ this week and is available exclusively at The Gin Club. The latest release from Never Never is an expression that promotes the fresh local produce found around the Adelaide region of McLaren Vale on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The result; a true Australian Gin, designed to feature best in cocktails, as a gin and tonic, or just over-ice.
Sourcing Somerton Almonds from Taronga, Lloyd Brothers Kalamata Olives and McMillian and Drew herbs which include lemon thyme, thyme, bay leaf and basil. Not to mention locally foraged Oleria Axillaris, more commonly known as the Coastal Daisy Bush.
All these ingredients are sourced from the local region of South Australia and create a gin that is distinctly Mediterranean in both flavour and function!
