Normally only available when visiting the distillery in-person, Island Gin Distiller's Strength is making a special journey to the mainland to feature in our December box! A higher strength expression of their award-winning Original Gin, bottled at 46% ABV rather than 43.2%.
Island Gin Distiller's Strength
Single shot distilled in the London Dry style in a copper still, off grid, using as many locally sourced botanicals as possible to reflect the unique terroir of Great Barrier Island, including mānuka and bush honey.
The award-winning bottle design reflects a kina shell and are all made in New Zealand using a sustainable glass production.
Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Mediterranean Tonic Water
Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Mediterranean Tonic Water was chosen as the perfect pairing as its herbaceous flavours match and enhance the citrus and herbaceous flavour profile of Island Gin Distiller's Strength while being lower in sugar.
By blending the essential oils from herbs that they have gathered from around the Mediterranean shores with highest-quality quinine from the 'fever trees' of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Fever-Tree have created a delicate, floral tonic water.
Parched Dehydrated Blood Orange
These all-natural dehydrated blood orange slices are a great garnish as they still carry the fruit flavour and they elevate any drink or food creation. With enough garnish to pair with every 30ml pour of gin from the bottle.
100% Natural. Zero added sugar, all of the flavour!
You also get an air-tight glass jar in you first box to store your garnish in style while keeping it fresh.
Tio Pablo Salted Totopitos
Crunchy tortilla chips, made from fresh, gluten free corn tortillas. Fried in sunflower oil and lightly salted. Eat between sips to let the saltiness mingle with the gin's herbaceousness and take you out to Great Barrier sitting out in the Pacific off the east coast.
Other Products
Delicious honey straight from the island too! From the same producers as the one that Island Gin uses to make their absolutely delicious gin. A sweet little treat that you can sample and then use to pick out the honey notes in the gin.
