Started in 2018, Third Eye Distillery was founded in Goa, India, by three young family members working around the world in the food and drinks industry. Their goal has been to create a premium and unapologetically Indian brand that changes perceptions, resonates with contemporary tastes, and truly captures India’s vibrant agricultural heritage.

With so many classic gin botanicals being of Indian origin, most of their botanicals are locally produced, including some in their own garden, and thus, as fresh as possible. Simultaneously environmentally conscious, they have installed solar power, recycle the water used in distillation, have no plastic packaging, and donate the flesh from the peeled citrus to be turned into jams and pickles.

The three-eyed, two-tailed tiger on their bottles represents the myth they have created around their brand to honour India’s rich culture of ritual and folklore, while the ‘Stranger’ in their name nods to strangeness of India’s wonderful chaos and the ‘& Sons’ to the traditional family-owned business that are handed down and the Indian entrepreneurial spirit.
