Bourbon casks from early 2018 were filled with a roughly 60/40 ratio of unpeated to peated spirit, then re-racked into Madeira (fortified wine) casks for two years. These casks were vatted just prior to reaching 7 years old and bottled.

Cocoa powder, stewed plums, and red fruits lead the nose. Cedar bark, salted trail mix with chocolate chips and blueberries with cinnamon sweets on the palate. A medium-weighted finish with a long linger that gently dries.
