Iwai Tradition is Mars Whisky's blended whisky, created with respect and gratitude to Kiichiro Iwai, who started Mars Whisky and was an early pioneer in the history of Japanese whisky.
Made for half a century, since the Iwai pot still was first produced, it features a complex and pleasant aroma, a gentle and soft palate, yet a solid body with a mature feel.
Complex aromas of sweet honey, malt, and burnt sugarcane, layered with subtle peat. Notes of orange marmalade, cedar, and hints of cigar on the palate. Followed by a distinctively full-bodied and warming finish.
