An aged gin reflecting the efforts of the early European settlers that came to New Zealand by taking the barrel to the gin, rather than the gin to the barrel.
Botanicals: Juniper, Coriander Seed, Cassia Bark, Ginger, Kawakawa, Tarata, Angelica Root, Lemon Zest, Horopito, Peppercorn, Bush Honey, Mānuka & Nutmeg
Serving Suggestion: Enjoy with Fever-Tree Premium Ginger Ale and a slice of orange.

- 60ml Kākāpō Distillery Kawakawa & Pink Peppercorn Gin
- 1 Lemon Half
- 1 Lemon Wedge
- 10ml Sugar Syrup
- Fever-Tree Premium Soda Water
- Ice
Steps
- Pour the gin into a highball glass filled with ice
- Squeeze over and the drop in the lemon half
- Add the sugar syrup and stir thoroughly
- Top up with the soda water
- Garnish with the lemon wedge
