A chance find at a local antique shop was the inspiration behind this gin, an old recipe from 1862 for a "A Fine Gin" out of a chemistry book, including uncommon botanicals of Grains of Paradise, Calamus Root, Cucumber, and Lemon Myrtle.

Ingredients
- 1tsp Orange Marmalade
- 45ml Knocknaveagh 1862 Dry Gin
- 15ml Cointreau
- 15ml Lemon Juice
- Orange Peel Twist
- Ice
Steps
- Muddle the marmalade with the lemon juice in a shaker until liquified
- Add the gin and Cointreau, fill with ice, and shake until well chilled
- Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass
- Garnish with the twist of orange peel
