Black Robin Rare Gin
Black Robin Rare Gin
ABV: 43.0%
Size: 700 mL
Origin: Te Puna, Bay of Plenty
Inspired by the critically endangered Chatham Island's Black Robin Gin is a London Dry style gin. Handcrafted and batch-distilled in a Arnold-Holstein copper reflux pot still by Master Distiller Michael Deinlein, who's family have been crafting alcoholic beverages since the 1930s.
Using triple distilled whey as their base, they go on to distill Black Robin Gin a further two times with 11 traditional and exotic botanicals including locally sourced horopito. They then blend with pristine filtered spring water sourced from a sprung underneath their distillery in the hills above Tauranga.
Botanicals: Juniper, Chervil, Watercress, Parsley, Mint, Liquorice Root, Star Anise, Horopito, Candied Lime Zest, Candied Lemon Zest & Lemongrass
Serving Suggestion: Enjoy with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water and a slice of lemon.
