Inspired by founder Julien’s travels around the world, particularly Asia, No8 Hibiscus Gin is made using a combination of macerated and vapour infused botanicals. The gin is a unique recipe and coloured by macerating hibiscus petals in the gin after distillation. Being a natural colouring, it will fade if exposed to sunlight.

Botanicals: Juniper, Coriander Seed, Dried Hibiscus Flower, Fresh Gorse Flower, Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit Peel, Angelica Root, Pineapple, Passionfruit, Ginger, Cardamom & Cassia Bark

Ingredients

  • 1tsp Orange Marmalade
  • 45ml No8 Distillery Hibiscus Gin
  • 15ml Cointreau
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • Orange Peel Twist
  • Ice

Steps

  1. Muddle the marmalade with the lemon juice in a shaker until liquified
  2. Add the gin and Cointreau, fill with ice, and shake until well chilled
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass
  4. Garnish with the twist of orange peel
