1919 Distilling

Founded in 2017, they are named for the year that New Zealand voted down prohibition and stay true to the way gin was made in the 1900s by using a base spirit made from cane sugar rather than whey.

They pride themselves on sourcing locally so that they can ensure the best quality and craftsmanship, in combination with kiwi ingenuity and transparency. Even their custom built 600L still is New Zealand made.

All of their oranges and lemons are upcycled by being donated to local food kitchens.
