Dancing Sands Distillery

Founded in 2016 by partners Sarah and Ben Bonoma after leaving their corporate careers in New York and London, their dream was to produce world-class sprits in the most beautiful place on Earth.

They make their gins in small 150 litre batches using water from the aquifer that feeds the nearby Te Waikoropupū Springs, often regarded as the clearest spring water in the world.

Eschewing the customary structure of head distillers, they emphasise working together with a holistic approach considering all of the perspectives and tastes available to them.
