Umeshu from Dr Beak takes inspiration from Japan. Based on a traditional Japanese umeshu, this gin liqueur has been crafted using their Garden Gin as a base and steeping New Zealand-grown green ume fruit for ten months, along with rock sugar to balance the tartness of the fruit.
Made in the Honkaku style, meaning no additives have been used and the liqueur is made from only alcohol, sugar, and ume.
They have used Nanko ume, which are highly prized for their thin skins and intensely rich flavour.
Botanicals: Juniper, Coriander Seed, Orris Root, Horopito, Rosemary, Mint, Bay Leaf & Ume
